PPE BELLOWS

Healthcare workers are often not allowed to remove their PPE suits until their shifts are over. Wearing full-body PPE in warm environments with high work rates is uncomfortable and increases the risk of heat stress. Integrating bellows into the fully covered suit helps to create air movement inside the PPE and provides some relief from the heat.
A pull tab acts as a handle to help expand and flap the bellows like a fan. When desired, this flapping movement pumps the air within the suit and causes it to flow around, creating circulation.
