TRANSITION SUIT

The TransitionSuit offers two modes of wear: A light mode allowing the user to be fully seen by others, and a dark mode that dims to partially conceal the lower portion of the user’s face. The modes are accessible via built-in controls found on the suit, and allow the user to reveal or conceal their identity.
Working in a high-stakes environment during a pandemic can be stress-inducing and physically draining. The TransitionSuit provides healthcare workers the option of concealing fatigue or fear, which are often expressed facially. In the dark mode, negative emotions felt by a healthcare worker are concealed beneath the dimmed suit to maintain a professional and reassuring front when interacting with patients. This also serves to protect their mental wellbeing by relieving them of having to constantly display a strong front.
